Victoria Shier from Century 21 Wright Real Estate is our ⭐Featured Realtor of the Month for July 2024⭐
Victoria has the soul of an artist and marches to the beat of her own drum. She’s creative and innovative even within the monochrome world of real estate. She originally wanted to be a builder and create homes with unique designs and “funky” character, but decided to learn the industry as an agent first. She knew right away as she came to love working with the people that she had found her true calling.
Victoria especially loves touring and looking inside older homes with unique features and personality. She loves to hike and runs a hiking group in Tahlequah. She also loves yard saling, antiquing and thrifting. She runs the annual Tahlequah Community Wide Yard Sale event each year in June. She loves to travel and to do things by herself, and with her 9yr old daughter, Olive.
When I asked Victoria about her specialties, it was very clear how much she loves working with first time home buyers. She loves every part of that journey from showing the houses, which is her FAVORITE part of the job, to helping the “newbies” understand how the process works and creating a real connection to the client.
Victoria is an easy realtor to work with. When I asked about what a perfect transaction looked like, she used a recent example that we worked on together as the gold standard. When all parties work together, have great communication, and keep all parties in the loop and informed, it makes obtaining the goal that much easier for everyone.
Victoria primarily works in Cherokee County and the surrounding counties. She works a lot in Locust Grove, but she says that she loves driving and it helps her to relax, so she is happy to show or sell property just about anywhere. When I asked if she would rather work with buyers or sellers, she made it no secret that while she likes selling homes, showing buyers houses that they might fall in love with is her favorite. She feels a true connection with her clients and that relationship building is where she feels she truly shines.
I enjoyed the answer when I asked Victoria if she had a mission statement or policy for working with her clients. She said she’s NOT a sales person, but her clients friend and guide. Her mission is to do a job for the client and she doesn’t lose that focus.
The most important thing that Victoria would like people to know about her is that she is “normal” and not plastic. I disagree, and think she is far from simply, normal. I think Victoria is a unique and special person, she has a positive light that shines bright and she is 100% authentic and original. She is positively NOT plastic, so she’s right about that. I enjoy working with Victoria as she is passionate for her clients, and she does a fantastic job!
